Job Description

The rationale behind this position of Entrepreneurship Trainer is to provide enterprise based training to youth which could support them in finding opportunities to promote their business units in commercial market. The training would serve the beneficiaries to develop their competencies in Entrepreneurship. This training would also support in particular, those who were trained in the harvesting & processing of sea-buckthorn (berry) along with conceptualizing, planning, and developing innovative and viable business plans in order to promote their manufactured products. This would include training candidates into preparing business proposals and taking financial decisions which could encourages the development of their self-esteem and confidence. It is expected from the position holder to capacitate trainees to develop them into full-fledged entrepreneurs from all aspects.

 

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Prepare and conduct training sessions for trainees according to a prepared plan for the entrepreneurship classes.
  • Specify relevant curriculum in order to prepare candidates in making business plans and business proposals.
  • Coach the youth with developing viable micro-entrepreneurship ideas and help them develop an introductive business plan along with capacitating them in building their branding & merchandising sense.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other departments/communities/individuals in capacities of the project stockholdings in line with expected criteria.

Position Requirements:

  • The Entrepreneurship Trainer should have the following competencies and experience:
  • Post graduate in Business Management/Social Work/ Social Sciences or other relevant field
  • Experience in entrepreneurship and related domains.
  • At least 1 year of training experience on building CV/career management
  • Should possess good capacity building/training skills
  • At least 1 year of experience working in entrepreneurship development/HR/business development field.
  • Familiar with civil society and NGO engagements on development of business plan
  • Proficiency in local language as well as English language (written & oral).
  • Background of Marketing &Communication domains would be an advantage.

COMPETENCIES: (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • IT skills/Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage people and build their knowledge and skills, ability to coach and mentor people for their career development in various field. Candidates with post harvesting management background would be in advantage.
  • Ability to identify trainees based on their potential and developing them to build their potential into strengths. Ability to work under pressure.
  • Developing business plans/Govt. &non-governmental avenues knowledge /financial institutions
