The Data Analyst will support state team by communicating and coordinating on a daily basis with the Jhpiego team in field and India Country Office. This position requires experience coordinating health data management with stakeholders mainly state and distrcit governments. S/he should be able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines and have working knowledge of data analysis tools/software.
Responsibilities :
Data Support :
• Coordinate timely collection, collation, compilation and dissemination of data pertaining to various project.
• Support project field offices in data management.
• Verify accuracy of the data by performing periodic data quality checks; prepare and submit reports to the supervisor.
• Assist in data collection and conduct field visits for follow-up assessments as needed.
• Conduct/ support trainings of the data record reporters of the program facilities as needed.
• Develop and maintain database for capturing the programmatic data and maintenance of queries and programs for analysis and related reports.
• Support supervisor in analyzing data, developing dashboards and generating relevant graphs and information.
• Develop relevant dashboards for data visualization purposes.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or post-graduate diploma in computer science (BSc/B.E/BCA/PGDCA) is essential. Master’s degree in computer (MSc/ MCA etc.) will be preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in compiling and analyzing Public Health Data at large scale.
• Working Experience in development of Data Management Tools for Public Health Data is desired.
• Knowledge of HMIS will be preferred.
• Working experience of Advance Excel with Macro Programming is desired.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Access, PHP and MySQL will be preferred.
