Job Description

Role Purpose: 

Oversee thematic portfolio in the states (within the HUB), and provide knowledge support to the Hub lead for quality delivery, thus ensuring thematic excellence and quality inputs at all stages of the programmes in line with the Thematic strategy and quality benchmark. The position will also work with the National Thematic Lead in building technical capacities, generating evidences from the programmes on the ground, create and use knowledge products for policy engagement to create wider impact (at scale). Design innovative programming models aligned to the thematic and sub-thematic priorities

Role & responsibilities:

Strategy Development & Implementation

  • Work with the thematic lead at the National level in development of Thematic strategy.
  • Work with the thematic lead, Big Idea Technical and Implementation leads at the National level, and Hub Lead to develop Annual Thematic Programme Plan for the hub with clear indication of priorities in terms of sub thematic focus, geography, research agenda, advocacy asks, and budget provisioning.
  • Maintain current and comprehensive data base on the thematic issue and programme impact at the hub/State level to support preparation and updating of the situation analysis for the strategy and to inform the program priorities, design and implementation plans.
