Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

·      Assist in developing a strategy for expressing complex information through visual and multimedia design as per di?erent audiences and stakeholder groups

·      Assist the team to manage all SELCO Foundation communication-led interventions in a strategic manner to ensure a seamless flow of information consistent with the organization’s philosophy

·      Bring in new and innovative ways to communicate regarding projects, processes, approach and events

·      Support the team in producing a variety of communication material for di?erent audiences and to improve the outreach of SELCO Foundation’s publications, opinions and approaches

·      Landscape mapping, stakeholder mapping and creating engagement tools for various audiences with targeted information

·      Manage internal and external workshops and coordinate for training programs to improve dissemination of information

Eligibility Criteria

·      Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a communications role, preferably in the development sector

·      Ability to use both creative and technical skills to create attractive and clear messaging that can communicate large and complex ideas

·      Excellent graphic design skills and knowledge of basic design softwares- the Adobe Suite

·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·      Ability to network and build relationships with stakeholders at various levels, extract information and devise ways to convey key learnings and processes- developing communication material accordingly

·      Ability to grasp audience sensibility and calibrate communications to resonate with di?erent target audiences

·      Willingness to learn, grow and develop at personal and professional front, at a rapid pace with a steep learning curve

·      Ability to work in an interdisciplinary and multicultural environment

·      Ability to adapt to new environment and deliver under tight deadlines in a professional environment

·      Willingness to travel to rural and remote locations across the country

Desired Candidate Profile

Post Graduation - MSW
