Roles & Responsibilities
Documenting financial transactions and reconciliation on a daily basis.
Compiling, analysing, and reporting financial data.
Summarising and presenting financial data to managers, investors, and other entities.
Maintaining accurate financial records.
Monitoring the efficiency of existing accounting procedures and ensuring they comply with the government regulations
Reviewing financial documents to resolve any discrepancies and irregularities
Handling monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
Assisting management in the decision-making process by creating, reviewing and presenting budgets and financial forecasts.
Ensuring timely bank payments
Ensuring staff/contractors/consultants submit their invoices in time & get paid
Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
Providing guidance on revenue enhancement, cost reduction and profit maximisation
Reporting on the company's financial health and liquidity
Publishing financial statements in time
Reporting to supervisor
Daily Task Reports/Updates
Weekly Budget Updates
Financial reports every month
Printing of Transition documents(E Invoice)
Computing taxes and prepare tax returns
Preparing GST and TDS Data and filing GST (Gstr-1 Gstr-3b) and TDS Returns.
Implementing and following financial Controls – to avoid errors, fraud, and theft
Reinforcing financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
Minimum one-year work experience as an Accountant
Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Hands-on experience with accounting software like Tally and QuickBooks
Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
Experience working on Google Sheets and docs
Experience with general ledger functions
Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to communicate complex data clearly and concisely.
Understanding of mathematics and accounting and financial processes.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Cross-cultural experience, understanding, and sensitivity
High level of integrity and ability to work as part of a team
