Job Description
Reporting to: Project Manager
Project Location: Bodeli Block, Gujart
Working hours: Monday to Friday and work outside normal hours including Saturdays may be required.
Salary: Commensurate with the Skills and Experience
Traveling: travel to project sites maybe required as per the JD responsibilities.
Core Purpose: Assessing work environments of clients and deciding what adjustments as needed and advising on adaptive equipment to help clients with daily activities and skill training.
Key responsibilities and job description:
- Conducting physical and psychological assessments of clients and developing or following a treatment plan.
- Assessing work environments of clients and deciding what adjustments as needed.
- Advising on adaptive equipment to help clients with daily activities and skill training.
- Developing physical rehabilitation programs to help clients regain lost skills.
- Educating caregivers and family members of clients on patient care.
- Evaluating results and progress of occupational therapy on clients.
- Evaluating patient condition regarding physical and basic mental health.
Qualifications and work experience:
- A bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from a university certified by the ACOTE
- (Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education)
- Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and physical therapy programs.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to take care of clients with different personalities.
- Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
- Ability to assess patient conditions and work with treatment plans.
Contract Period: Project Tenure
Professional and behavioral
- Proficiency in Microsoft office applications such as word, excel & PPT.
- Good communication skills in English, regional language
