Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

•Conduct door to door mobilization of the area allotted.

•Create awareness in the community about domestic violence, especially among women and girls.

•Do camping and rally in the community.

•Conduct community meetings, volunteer meetings.

•Do case counselling, case follow up and home visits of cases.

•Conduct Mahila Panchayat Meetings.

•Help people in getting services provided by Government.

•Write Meeting minutes.

•Do Home visit of all the complaints received.

•Maintain proper documentation of all the cases.

•Assist the Project Coordinator in delivering all the duties assigned.

Qualification and experience:

•Graduate and substantial working experience of at least 2-3 years in development sector

•Sound understanding of community and the community processes, local dynamics

•Ability to work with different stakeholders Ability to build rapport with community

•Ability to identify & nurturing local leadership

•Strong perspective on gender and social exclusion issues

•Proven track record of doing similar jobs (community mobilization)

•Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to work in a team.

•Ability in writing and speaking skills in English and Hindi.

•Should be a self-starter, have good negotiation skills.

Compensation

A salary that is commensurate with JOSH policies and the experience of the right candidate.
