Katalyst is a 14 year old NGO that aims to liberate women through the pursuit of professional education. An award winning NGO, Katalyst stands for the economic empowerment of women. Katalyst achieves this by supporting women in STEM, to build a leadership bench that can in turn enhance diversity in the workplace. In 2020, Katalyst was recognised internationally with Awards from UK, USA, Australia and Asia.


Katalyst achieves its objective through a blend of unique development interventions including 600- hour proprietary and scientifically researched curriculum, one-to-one mentorship, laptop, medical insurance for the girl and the mother, financial pay-out based on a unique scorecard and assistance with internships, industry exposure and corporate interactions

Set up in 2007 with 10 young women, Katalyst now has chapters in Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, and Delhi, directly impacting the lives of 1,200 girls.

Job Opportunity

Katalyst seeks to recruit a dynamic woman as a Program Manager, who will assume the role to drive the Katalyst Alkemist and Akcelerator programs. She will be responsible for the management and development of the program. She will enrol alumni and build rapport with them and other stakeholders while tracking data and progress on these. Along with ensuring that the programme is meeting its objective, this person will be managing the data management through the back end.

 

It will be 5-day work week which will include a Saturday and/or Sunday with subsequent week day(s) off. The person should be available to travel whenever required for meetings with the corporate, various stakeholders, review meetings with Board and other events. The role will be based in Mumbai

/ Pune. The Program Manager will report to the Associate Director.


 

Responsibilities:

The programme activities include:


Text Box: 1.	Program Design: Assist in designing process framework for the interventions including identification of partners and methodology to track them
2.	Liaise / coordinate with Participants: Ensure enrolment of the participants as per the target and form relevant groups
3.	Meet the objectives of the identified activities through direct implementation
4.	Organise various activities such as induction, training and coaching sessions, speaker series, workshops, etc.
5.	Career & Personal Counselling: Outline the counselling process.
6.	Data creation and Management of the database


 

Text Box: 7.	Assist in finalizing the monitoring and evaluation framework, track and monitor participants’ attendance
8.	Build rapport with Corporate, Individual professionals and Institutes

9.     Responsibilities for Akcelerator program:

·      Coordinate with post-graduation students to track their performance and update the tracker time to time

·      Assist in paper work during entrance exams

·      Coordinate with students for new age technology programs and track their performance

·      Attend counselling meetings

10.  Ensure smooth flow of communication with your supervisor and HO and give regular updates. Regular meeting with the participants, stakeholder and Katalyst team

11.  Responsible for overall functioning and implementation of all the interventions

 

Must Have:

·      The candidate should be a female and preferably a post graduate in any discipline

·      Minimum 5 years of experience required. Experience in higher education and/or career counselling would be an added advantage

·      A “ready to help” attitude and a friendly personality yet firm

·      Good communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively with various Stakeholders

·      Computer skills, including internet navigation, understanding of social media –LinkedIn and various MS office applications with strong MS Excel and PPT skills. Should be active on social networking sites like Facebook, LinkedIn, e-groups, twitter etc.

·      Willing to work on weekends - It will be 5 day work week which will include a Saturday or Sunday with Monday off during training months)

·      Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.

·      The person should be matured to take ownership of the programme activities and at the same time have empathy for the social sector

Step 1 - Post submission of CV there will be an Interview with Associate Director Step 2 – Interview by CEO

Step 3 - Interview with the Board Advisor

Eligibility Criteria
