Aiding in the development and testing of research tools and instruments (both qualitative & quantitative), and undertaking field work as necessary including collection of spatial data
Carrying out secondary data collection (qualitative, quantitative, spatial etc.), including supporting on data collection from relevant stakeholders using various formats
Assist in drafting research reports and briefs, and providing support in producing milestone-based outputs
Producing other outputs as required for the project, including presentations and short briefs, and for dissemination on social media
Ensuring timely completion of project activities according to the project plans
Support the project team for producing several secondary studies outputs as and when required
Undertake on-field study of assigned livelihood projects from time to time and reporting on prescribed formats
Key Result Areas (KRAS):
Support in implementing the learning agenda of the project
Conduct focus group discussion and take interviews
Draft research protocols and develop research tools under the guidance of Senior Researcher
Conduct data collection for qualitative and quantitative studies and ensure data quality
Feeding data on prescribed formats
Support the analysis of quantitative, qualitative, and secondary data
Compile and maintain repositories of relevant research studies and literature as per requirement
Periodically track data from ongoing studies and ensure that documents are appropriately prepared and stored
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to achieve the project goals

Knowledge & Skills needed |
Good analytical and writing skills
Fluency in spoken and written English and Hindi
Proficiency in editing of reports and documents
Excellent interpersonal skills, to work with a research team and diverse professionals
Strong computer skills, with MS Word, Excel, Power point and application software
Experience & Qualifications |
A Master’s degree in Development Studies / Social Work or a related discipline and familiarity with Information Science and technology, analytics, or research field, or in any other related area
Preferably 3-4 of experience in research and fieldwork experience is mandatory
Knowledge of GIS and spatial analysis would be an added advantage
Demonstrated skills on data using visualization and analysis tools and carry out quantitative analysis
Excellent numeracy skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
