Job Description

Design, implement and conduct teacher education programme in teaching English to in-service teachers of both primary and upper primary schools

• Identify and develop a resource pool of teacher trainers to conduct teacher training programme on teaching English in multilingual classrooms for in service teachers

• Collaborate with the resource pool to conduct teacher training sessions, provide feedback and as sess teachers! progress on completing training.

• Identify motivated teachers and collaborate with them to develop learner centric curricula, lesson plans, pedagogical tools, assessment and classroom management techniques.

• Designing and developing effective teaching strategies and curricula materials with our internal team to help them support teachers in the process of classroom transaction

•Provide on-site support to motivated teachers by demonstrating effective teaching strategies and pedagogic tools with them.

• Build our team capacity by keeping abreast of latest developments in education and conducting training sessions within the team on it

Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications and Requirements

MA in Education/English/ Social Sciences/ Psychology or any other subject discipline 2-5 years extensive teaching experience in english as a subject & 2 years as a teacher trainer

•Proficiency in English and Assamese speaking, reading and writing is a must

• Has an understanding of how children learn and believer cum practitioner of child friendly peda gogy

• Possess a good understanding of the current educational scenario,

• Excellent Communication and Inter-personal skills

• Self-motivated, possesses ability to work unsupervised using own initiative.

• Ability to influence and motivate team
