Job Description

The objective of the position:

Ø To help students build competency through training, especially for Persons with Speech and hearing Impairment (SHI).

Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Training the aspirants on an integrated module (++ MS Office + Basic Mathematics + Soft skills + Work readiness – all modules will be readily available and should be taught, through sign Language in case of Persons with SHI with the help of a subject trainer
  • Participate in pre and post-counselling of aspirants, using sign language in case of Persons with SHI along with the Area Head/Centre coordinator
  • Support the centre in conducting assessments of the aspirants, again using sign language in case of Persons with SHI Publishing the entire Training plan/calendar of the centre
  • Networking with guest lecturers/industry, to arrange field visits as part of the sector readiness module / Sensitize employers towards employing PwDs
  • Handholding aspirants at the workplace (for a short duration) after placement
  • Build the capacity of the centre staff in communicating with SHI Persons




Eligibility Criteria


  • Proficiency in Indian Sign Language with Level B certification
  • Training skills in teaching Speech and Hearing Impaired




Desired Candidate Profile

Others - Others

  • Graduate / postgraduate with 3-4 years of experience in training preferred, however efficiency in Indian Sign language is mandatory Computer Knowledge (MS Office – Word, Excel)


  • Proficiency in Indian Sign Language with Level B certification
