Job Description

A leading non-profit with a national presence and affiliated with one of the largest global non-profit organizations is urgently seeking to hire a national manager to lead their program in early childhood education. The position calls for 15 to 20 years of work experience in managing the design and implementation of education programs in India with a minimum of 5 years in a national or multi-state role. The organization works closely with state governments to design and implement high impact interventions in early childhood education. The role would require proven experience of successfully managing large programs in a complex multi-stakeholder environment at the national or regional level. Candidates suitable for the role would bring an in-depth understanding of the education sector in India with a specific focus on girl child education and early childhood education supported with experience of current and evolving pedagogy; utilizing technology applications; design and conducting learning assessments etc. The organization works closely with the central and state governments and relevant experience in leading or working in programs engaging with government or technical assistance teams would be essential.
