Job Description

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  1. Excellent project implementation skills – can prepare project action plans and follow-through on implementation.
  2. Excellent ability to manage a diverse set of stakeholders, in and outside of the organization.
  3. Ability to operate with minimal instructions and supervision.
  4. Ability to manage high-stakes projects in partnership with external stakeholders.
  5. Monitor achievements of project deliverables concurrently and take stock of progress on monthly basis against Detailed Implementation Plan, Annual Business Plan, Analyses operational compliance and take corrective actions.
  6. Plan for the utilization of allocated funds as per the need of the projects. Help colleagues to understand the fund management process for smooth functioning.
  7. Identify gaps, constraints and provide solutions to teams, analyses training need, keeping in mind the need for livelihood promotion, look at employee grievances, progress on training and capacity building and take corrective action.
  8. Plan and document for new initiatives, services, and systems.
  9. Make new initiatives and services user friendly for helping the peers and subordinates within the organization.
  10. Ensure timely donor reports, invoicing and follow ups for recovery of outstanding receivables with donor/s.
  11. Preparation of timely reports, MIS and scope for area development.
  12. Performance review related to the growth prospects of the employee.
  13. Undertake such other activities as may be assigned from time to time.

Eligibility Criteria

Knowledge & Skills needed |

  • Strong leadership and team-management skills
  • Effective communication & Persuasive skills – can navigate interaction with donor representatives,
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities with a good knowledge of MS Excel
  • Effective organizational, coordination and administrative skills is an advantage
  • Should be proficiency with MS Word, Advance Excel and PowerPoint

Experience & Qualifications |

  • At least 5 years of experience in relevant role
  • Full time Post Graduate degree in Agriculture/ Master in Agriculture
  • Preferred: Exposure to have work with government stakeholders
