Job Description

This role aims at functions of Audits, Budgeting, Planning, Management Reporting, new systems implementation and their integration with the Financial Management System. In this role the Senior Manager shall report to the Director Finance. The candidate should be CA with minimum 9 years of post-qualification experience (candidate with 14+ years of experience might be considered for the Head level position) and must be capable of handling the following:

Role & responsibilities (<5):

Reporting, Budgeting & Planning: 

  • Lead the MIS and reporting function
  • Developing reports for top management summarizing the business financial position in areas of income, expenses, capital usage and cash flows.
  • Reporting on monthly, quarterly, annual performance metrics.
  • Assist in reporting to the Board.
  • Designing new reporting formats.
  • Ensuring timely Financial Reporting and Budget monitoring
  • Coordinate and supervise the preparation of strategic plans, budgets and financial forecast.
  • Preparation and Revision of Budgets, educating budget holders, Consolidation, Validation and Analysis of budget vs actual on a monthly, quarterly, annual basis.

Financial Management & Audit

  • Finalizing the books of accounts (Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss account, Cash flow statement etc.) as per Indian GAAP.
  • Preparation of FCRA financials and returns
  • Supervise and coordinate the Internal Audit, Statutory Audit, Annual Reports
  • Hands on experience on GST compliances & reporting & return filing matters.
  • Overseeing Tax Audits and filing of Income Tax Returns, filing of Annual Reports with the Registrar’s    office, etc.
  • Banking & Treasury
  • Fixed Asset Management and overseeing Asset Verification on periodic basis
  • Overseeing and ensuring Statutory and Internal Compliances within all functions in the organization
  • Coordination with the Risk & Governance Team in identifying financial risks and mitigating them.
  • Coordinating with other functions well in smoothening operations with a solutions approach.

Systems

  • Lead in Projects for implementation of new systems that can be integrated with the Financial Management System
  • Representation in Global financial groups

  • External Stakeholders: The Board, Statutory Auditors, Internal Auditors, FCRA Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs, GST authority, Banks.

  • Minimum 9/14 years of experience in Core finance in a sizable Organization (Preferably in Development Sector)
  • Expert knowledge on FCRA regulations and returns

  • Ability to understand and define processes.

 

Qualifications

  • Applicant must be a Chartered Accountant with minimum 9/ 14 years of post-qualification experience.
