Job Description

ISID invites applications for the following two short-term positions as part of the Sectoral Study on Mining Sector with a focus on Iron Ore:

1. Research Consultant/ Research Associate (Eco):

Minimum qualification: MA/MPhil/PhD in Economics/Finance from a recognised university.

Candidates with research experience in industry studies, trade, competition issues; and are interested in doing field survey in selected Indian states will be given  preference.

2. Research Consultant/ Research Associates (Law):

Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognised university.

Candidates with experience in mining laws and/competition law; and are interested in doing field survey in selected Indian states will be given preference.

Salary: Salary will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the suitable candidate.  The appointment will be for around 3 to 4 months. The selected candidates may have to join the research team at the earliest.
