Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities-

• Should be based in the district for which applied.

• Should be willing to travel in the district extensively.

• Should have knowledge of MS-Word, Excel.

• Overall responsibility of the program implementation in the district.

• Supervision of program and the responsibilities delegated to other members of the team and mentoring them.

• Monitor the implementation of district plan and submit progress reports as per requirement.

• Ensure training of all staffs when they join and training by STRC.

• Make field visits, meet and coordinate with stakeholders at district and block level to address issues related to implementation of the scheme.

• Support SACS/DAPCU in implementing various activities such as Condom Program, Folk Media Activities, Mass Media campaigns, Health camps etc.

• Work with various government departments ensuring that the target groups are enrolled, receiving necessary services if they are eligible.

• Play key role in advocacy at all levels against stigma and discrimination.

• Compile reports and ensure analysis by M&E assistant for programmatic gaps.

• Submit program and financial reports on time to SACS/TSU/DAPCU.

Eligibility Criteria

Honorarium Rs.21,000/- +Travel up to Rs2,000/-)

Essential qualification and experience

Masters in Social Sciences with at least 3 years experience in working with programs related to livelihood promotion, adult literacy, microfinance, health sector programs not merely awareness activities.
