We are looking for a full-time professional for documentation and research on women’s rights in the context of natural resources governance, women’s rights and women’s cultural knowledge practices. The work involves evidence based secondary and primary research on gender and climate change, gender impact assessment, gender audits, preparing case studies, policy briefs and documenting field stories in different formats of written reports, audio and video documentation, multi-media communication material. The work also involves preparing newsletters, training and awareness material on gender, for communities as well as for policy engagement.

Applicants with post-graduation in social sciences, development studies, women’s studies, anthropology, botany, forestry and cultural studies can apply.
We are looking for applicants with good social research skills and ability to travel to remote tribal areas, conduct field work in challenging conditions and travel independently. We are looking for additional skills in digital mapping, illustrations and designing posters, handbooks and other communication material. The applicant should have a familiarity with women’s rights and environmental issues and have the passion for extensive field travel to forest and tribal areas. Preferable language skills are Hindi, English and any tribal languages. Women candidates and applicants from ST communities will be given a preference.
