Job Description

Major Responsibilities:

• Implementation of solar project interventions as per the plan among hospitals and health institutions
• Researching health and environmental sustainability issues in healthcare networks and creating awareness through webinars
• Promote and disseminate health and environmental sustainability topics on electronic learning platforms
• Handhold the project team and other stakeholders involved in the project implementation
• Consult and coordinate with CHAI Member Institutions, vendors, and sub-contractors for need assessment, estimating, scheduling, and resolving issues
• Carry out site inspections and energy surveys to ensure minimum time and no cost overruns incurs as far as possible
• Ensure required preparations like checking of site and ground conditions for the installation of renewable technologies, such as, solar power units
• Collaborate with implementing partners and collect programmatic reports and financial documentation
• Developing high quality reports for projects being implemented by CHAI and ensure technical accuracy of the narrative facts and figures in the reports
• Develop concept notes, proposals and meet with stakeholders to acquire resources for expansion and sustainability of the program
• Travel to selected site locations and monitor activities
• Lead the preparation and submission of progress reports (narrative & financial) to the funding organizations and other documents
• Timely correspondence with donors

Eligibility Criteria

Required educational qualifications and experience:

• The ideal candidate should have completed MSW/MA/MBA/MPH from a reputed institute.
• Preferred candidates will have a health-related degree, BPT/BDS/MBBS
• Prior experience of working in Public Health programmes
• Understanding of Results Based Management, Financial and budgetary control, Program management
• Ability to use MS Office.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Good personal organizational skills, including time management, and ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Should be able to plan and execute various tasks individually with minimal supervision; and should also be a team player.
• Should possess analytical skills
• Should be organized and follow due diligence in execution of various tasks.
