Job Description

Role:

• Function as the technical and administrative head of the clinical services and ensure smooth functioning of the clinic (Including satellite clinic and outreach services) according to the strategic plan of the association.


Duties and Responsibilities:

• To be in charge of the administration of the clinic and a technical lead of the clinic.

• To be in charge of the medical, Para medical and all other staff (including part time doctors, sub ordinate staff etc. attached to the clinic).

• To be responsible for overall functioning of RHFPC and satellite clinic in line with strategic plan of FPA India.

• To attend the clinic and OPD during hours laid down and at any other times when required

• To provide counselling and other related services as and when needed.

• To admit and undertake pre-operative and post-operative care of the clients admitted for surgery.

• To ensure the smooth working of the operation theatre including fumigation and other infection prevention protocol.

• To assist consultants for MTPs, sterilizations and other minor surgical FP procedures.

• To inform the Hon. Surgeons and Anesthetists well in time of any complications that may arise and be present during the management of complications. MO shall be otherwise responsible for the safety of all the clients. MO should ensure that all the necessary paperwork involved in management of complications is completed by relevant persons.

• To be responsible for maintaining the cold chain, inventory and appropriate storage of commodities and equipment’s.

• To be responsible for maintaining referral networks, supported by BM and Medical sub-committee.

• To be responsible for the infection prevention and biomedical waste disposal as per FPAI Essential Service Standards and State Govt. statuary requirements.

• To be responsible for all medical records, case history, registers etc. as laid down.

• To be responsible for all the property, appliances and instruments of the clinic

• To sign indents for requirements of the clinic, according to the purchase procedures laid down.

• To be responsible for the discipline, output of work, cleanliness and the schedule of duty hours for the medical, Para medical and subordinate staff in consultation with the Branch Manager.

• To organize daily work of the clinic and liaise closely with the medical staff, which includes surgeons and anesthetists.

• To ensure that proper and up to date records of all the activities of the Center are maintained and ensure the submission of regular reports.

• To do eCMIS data entry as per the protocol.

• To undertake training for paramedical staff, participate in training and awareness programmes and attend conferences and seminars when directed to do so.

• To ensure that advocacy and awareness programmes for SRH services are carried out as required and to conduct awareness sessions in the outreach area in coordination with counsellor.

• To attend to work at service delivery sessions in outreach area as and when required.

• To attend to other Branch duties as may be assigned by the Branch Manager/ seniors.

• To support branch manager in clinic related reports/ records.

• To attend Medical Sub-committee meetings as required

• To attend Continuing Medical Education (CME) programmes as needed.

• To make every effort to popularize all the SRH services offered at the clinic.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility:

• MBBS (preferred with training to perform surgeries independently, Govt. recognized)

• BAMS (with suitable experience, (Govt. recognized)


Experience: minimum 1 year in the field of Gynecology and Obstetrics with experience in OT Management


Salary: - MBBS - 35,000/-

BAMS - 25,000/-
