Job Description

He will manage the Awareness and Hospital Cornea Recovery Programs of the Eye Bank Society of Rajasthan. Primarily, he will be supervising and monitoring Eye Donations Counselors/Technicians (EDCTs), and coordinate Hospital relationships building activities to ensure effective Eye Donation programs in hospitals .

Principal Accountabilities:

---Supervises and Supports Eye Donation Counselors/Technicians (EDCTs):

---Provides operational direction to all EDCTs, with input from Sr Manager

---Implements training and competency management program for new and existing EDCTs

---Implements professional development goals of EDCTs

---Be apt in counseling donor families for Eye Donation.

---Responsible for Hospital Transplant Targets:

---Supports in locating new Hospitals for increasing cornea transplant under the project

---Manages Eye Donation program in new and existing Hospitals as per set goals and expectations

---Maintains and develops relationships with Hospital Staff

---Training of eye donation counselor/Technicians:

Assists Sr Manager in training new EDCs for alignment with organizational mission, objectives, culture, and potential to contribute to growth of the Organisation.

---Training: Provides on-the job skills, professional and personal development skills training to EDCTs in conjunction with Sr Manager.

---Develops and strengthens Hospital Relationships:

---Coordinate Hospital Services (Relationship building at hospitals) to increase timely notification of all potential donors (deaths), and allow proper access to approach donor families for donation

---Creates new hospital relationships and new relationships within existing hospitals

---Provides Data and Reports:

Provides scheduled daily, monthly and annual data/reports to Sr Manager on all Project activities. Collects and reports other data/information requested from time to time.

Additional Accountabilities:

---Professional Development – allocates time and resources to enhance skills which directly improve ability to complete job functions for self and for staff

---Promotes the mission, vision and values of the organization

---Travel to meetings and conferences in Rajasthan and India as required

---Attend 1-3 weeks training at outstation location within 90 days of employment

---Performs various job functions as needed or as may be assigned being necessary in the organization having overlapping roles and responsibilities

Eligibility Criteria

Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

---Bachelor’s degree or higher. MBA / MSW / Eye Banking experience preferred.

---4-5 years’ line management experience. Healthcare experience preferred.

---Excellent communication skill with fluency in English and Hindi.

---Computer skill- email, spreadsheet, word processing, online data filling.

---Passionate and affirmation of intent to be an Organ/Tissue/Eye donor.

---Unquestionable ethics and integrity.

Role Location: Initially will be posted in Bikaner Cluster but can be shifted to any other place in Rajasthan. Travel to different centers in Rajasthan may be required.

Salary: About 2.20 Lakhs Annual (Plus Performance Base Bonus will be payable )

Your emoluments will be commensurate with qualifications and suitability.
