Job Summary:  The M&E Consultant will closely work on developing an overall robust M&E plan for the ongoing programs.

• Expert in M&E Strategy, planning and methodology
• Provide support to project design activities including the development of project theories of change and strategic frameworks (Results Frameworks, Log Frames)
• Developing a Monitoring and Evaluation Plan and tools for the projects
• Helping determine performance and impact indicators and targets

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Program Data Collection

• Lead the collection of program information on key indicators from the schools, teachers and other stakeholders for enhancement of the program
• Train the staff in collecting various data collection process and formats, such as baseline, enrollment, retention, learning assessment, etc

1. End to End Monitoring and Evaluation Plan

             The M&E associate will look after tracking and updating M&E data as well as ensuring the data is of the     

             best quality possible. Responsibilities include:

• Build a plan to Implement monitoring systems and designing monitoring tools
• Monitoring project activities, outputs and progress towards anticipated results
• Working with data platforms, databases and select technologies to capture and organize data
• Training field staff in monitoring and evaluation processes and providing ongoing coaching
• Conducting or providing support to data quality assessments
• Validate and verify the quality of the program on an ongoing basis
• Monitor the field visits of the district impact team for cross-verification and spot checks

1. Monitoring and Evaluation Tools design

• Determining data analysis procedures and use of quantitative or qualitative analysis tools
• Overall Monitoring and Evaluation tools (Baseline-Midline-Endline etc)
• Developing data collection tools & Development of Program Dashboard 

1. Reporting 

• Compilation of the findings and presentation in the review meetings
• Responsible for the preparation and compilation of Monthly Reports 
• Present data in monthly meetings at school and district levels. 

Eligibility Criteria

Ideal Skill Required:   

• Advance user of Microsoft Excel with high computer literacy and MS Office
• Presentation Skills, Report writing skills
• Preferred SQL, Database management, 
• Knowledge of major quantitative & qualitative monitoring methodologies and proven ability to design monitoring instrumentation tools 
• Broad experience in the design and implementation of capacity-building activities in M&E 

Education Qualification: Graduation in Social Science, Economics, Statistics or related fields; Master’s degree    

                                           preferred
