Job Description:
o Monthly planning of SampoornaSurakhsha activities as per district
epidemiological profile, Risk Profile, location and client load.
o Develop a detailed monthly micro-plan, which should include identification of
site/s for outreach.
o Facilitate in developing and allocating of target of Sampoorna Outreach worker
on monthly basis.
o Assessment and listingthe population "At Risk" for HIV and STls and identifying
the site for Outreach Activities
o Screening of identified "At Risk" client for STI/RTI, HlV, TB, Hep B & C
o Undertake field visits to the identified sites for outreach activities.
o Coordinate with SACS and ln-Charge of District health facilities for HIV
screening, STI/RTI, Hep C screening, TB (Kits, Training)
o Facilitate the implementation of IEC activities and display/maintenance of IEC
material including placement of hoarding wall paintinB as per the programme.
o Support the Nodal Officer in coordinating with the district administration,
related line departments and non-governmental partners working in the sector
to enhance the convergence to bring better synergy and promote NACP
activities in the district.
o Conduct advocacy meeting/ sensitization with stakeholder to address the
responses related to communities' access to health care facilities, social
protection/entitlem ents, a nd addressi ng stigma and d iscri mination.
o The site-wise list of at-risk populations who need to undergo HIV screening
STI/RTI Screening on priority needs to be generated from the individual
tracking sheet (lTS) before the day of the lntegrated Camp, and should be
discussed with the respective ORW.
o Closely monitor the drug kit and condom consumption and place appropriate
indent in consultation with medicalofficer in charge.
o Document and report good practices observed in the field and facilities and
support staff in addressing gaps.
o Ensure reporting of quality data and information in SOCH and preparation of
periodic reports for submission to SACS/NACO.
o Attend review meetings conducted by SACS with complete program
information.
o Support in programme evaluation process.
Education Qgalification:
S/he should be a graduate in any discipline of Social Work/
Anthropology/Psychology/Sociology preferably with 3 year experience at district level
programmes related to health, HIV/AIDS programmes, livelihood programmes, rural
development and microfinance.
iiiI Knowledee and Skills:
o Good Computer skill (MS Word, PPT and Excel)
. Strong communication skills and good listening skills
o Proficiency in data analysis, report writing, case study compilation.
Familiarity with government health policies and programmes.
o lbility to work in small teams, and flexible ways of working
o At least 10 to 15 days field visit required.
o Overall management capacity to monitor, report and guide the team under
him/her.
