Job Description

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (Finance), the Human Resource Officer will ensure the HR operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization.

 

HRO will be responsible for all major HR tasks like recruitment of employees/ temporary workers/ consultants, organizing trainings, administering employee benefits and leaves and crafting HR policies.

 

HRO will use Human Resources Information Systems to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential and act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics.

 

3.                KEY JOB RESPONSBILITIES:

 

The role requires the HRO to, among others,

  • Administer compensation and benefit plans
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
  • Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
  • Undertake tasks around performance management
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
  • Organize annual employee performance reviews
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations
  • Complete any tasks assigned by the organization or his/her supervisor.

COMPENSATION OFFERED

 

The remuneration for the HRO will be attractive and determined after considering the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.

7.                APPOINTMENT

 

The initial contract will be offered for a period of three years, renewable based on performance. This is a full-time position.

Eligibility Criteria

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES

 

HRO is required to have the following qualification, experience, and competencies:

  • Post-Graduate degree or MBA in Human Resources or a relevant field with at least 10 years’ experience as an HR professional. Additional professional training in Human Resources is desirable.
  • Broad knowledge of human resources functions, from hiring to onboarding and from employee compensation to evaluation.
  • Facilitate employee engagement under guidance of supervisor.
  • Good understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws.
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office and HRIS systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication (in English & Hindi) and people skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
  • Desire to work as a team with a result driven approach
  • 40 years and below as on 15 December 2022.
