Job Description

1) Managing organic farming projects throughout the entire organic supply chain.

2) procuring of various cultivated food products like soya, Safflower, Sunflower and Turmeric etc.

3) Overseeing the operations (suppliers, field officers, vendors) of project areas.

4) Managing product line from project areas in regard to specifications and quality, and standards as per customer requirements; ability to manage daily activity and field officer expenses.

5) Identifying and negotiating with various suppliers for procurement of goods.

6) Development of complete Internal Control System and Organic Certification.

7) Preparation and implementation of crop production plan.

8) Providing of advisory services to farmers; conducting farmer meetings and trainings for organic cultivation.

9) Managing procurement of only quality products.

10) Setting up Supply chain from Farm to warehouse with cost effective.

11) Warehouse- Inventory planning (stock audit- Monthly & weekly)

12) Quality control ? during inward, stored & dispatching.

13) Responsible for releasing purchase orders and managing accounts alongside the accountants and procurement team in headquarters ? Mumbai.

14) Preparing project budgets and expenses.

15) Development/standardize ?Organic Package of Practices? by conducting field trials for different crops.

16) Promoting organic agricultural/farming practices with participation of farmers at project areas to make farmers become sustainable with chemical free agriculture produce.

17) Conducting training and meeting for the development of organic farm, sharing technical knowledge from sowing to harvesting to produce on-farm, inorganic residual free material. ACHIVEMENTS

18) Procurement of Soybean increases from 2000 Mt to 15000 Mt, and 200 Mt of Turmeric.

19) Demonstration of Organic farming through participatory Model farms (2016 no of Model Farm-1, 2017 no of Model Farm-24, 2018 no of Model Farm-115)

20) International Procurement from Benin and Togo (West Africa) ? Soybean 500 MT
