Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1.Manage overall communications and multi-media production for C-HELP.

2.Develop a communications policy for C-HELP.

3.Maintain, update, and aid in the development of the C-HELP website and other online resources produced by C-HELP, and develop strategies to grow online engagement across such platforms.

4.Manage C-HELP’s social media profiles (Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn), generate engagement thereon, and develop and implement a comprehensive long-term social media strategy.

5.Design simple visuals, infographics, presentations, and other digital assets (leaflets, brochures, manuals) for the website and social media.

6.Support C-HELP staff in developing legal literacy and other work-related material in multiple media forms.

7.Identify innovative opportunities, including through regular monitoring of news and trends, and new communications tools and platforms, to spotlight C-HELP’s work and increase its digital presence.

8.Maintain and update C-HELP database of contacts/ partners.

9.Support miscellaneous communications tasks related to C-HELP’s work, such as drafting and issuing of press releases.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria

•An undergraduate degree in Communications/ Mass Media/ Public Relations/ Journalism/ Social Sciences/ Humanities.

•1 to 3 years of experience in communications, public relations, journalism, publishing, or marketing (preferred). Background in law is desirable.

•Excellent writing and communication skills.

•Fluency in English and Hindi.

•Working knowledge of Canva, InDesign or other designing tools.

•Applications to be submitted by 15 January 2023

•Position to be filled by 1 February 2023.
