Job Description: Skillability Head
Job purpose: Oversee vocational skills curriculum implementation, through training, value addition and skills development at skillability center of Aasraa Trust.
Key responsibilities:
Project Planning and design
a. Design and plan the roadmap for Skillability training interventions.
b. Design or review training manuals to aid in delivery of the intervention.
c. Develop project Vocational training work plans.
Project implementation and training
a. Conduct quarterly skill assessments in the areas of intervention.
b. Participate in the development and review of training materials.
c. Coordinate and identification of Vocational institutions already training the students on skills.
d. Develop a profiling toolkit that ensures that students are matched with appropriate skilling program for proper skills development.
e. Develop, review and evaluate the training programs while ensuring its implementation.
f. Engage trainers, and coaches to mentor and support the students to excel in their jobs.
g. Support and lead the development of teacher and instructor training.
h. Contribute regularly and timely to the preparation of project documentation, such as regular project, donor reports, monthly project report, etc.
Experience and abilities required:
a. Minimum 5+ years of relevant and progressive professional work experience, particularly in implementing similar development projects.
b. Solid experience in managing and implementing technical and vocational education
