Name of the Post: Documentation & Information Dissemination Coordinator (DIDC Coordinator).

Nature of the Job: Full Time.

Posting at: Delhi

Description of the Job:

i. Locating possible sources of information required and indicated by the DIDC management from time to time;

ii. Retrieving, storing, collating, classifying and cataloguing the information;

iii. Catering (in print, electronic and audio-visual media)of information with necessary description and analysis as required and indicated by the DIDC management from time to time;

Skill Requirements:

a. Experience in documentation work;

b. Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English, Hindi and any other (preferably Southern) language;

c. Proficiency in Computer based Data management;

d. Proficiency in handling and management of the Documentation Software (software and its operational training will be arranged by the DIDC management);

e. Proficiency in preparing information brochures (hard & soft), information summaries and commentaries, e-presentations including ppt;

f. Sensitivity to understand the information requirements of community based activists and attitude to serve them as much as possible.

Other Conditions for Work:

i. Preparation of Work Plan with regular updates;

ii. Maintenance of congenial work atmosphere in office including cleanliness, calm and timely attendance;

iii. Maintenance of daily work sheet with time and deliverables;

iv. Friendly and cooperating attitude with related workers, activists and visitors.

Reportability:

The DIDC Coordinator will be reportable to the DIDC Management or any person or persons designated by them for the purpose.

Contract Period: One year with scope for renewal.

Remuneration:Rs. 35,000/- per month.
