Job Description

We are looking for the position of Certificate Manager


Qualification:B.Sc(Agriculture),M.Sc.(Agriculture)


Certification regimes

1.Organic (NOP, NPOP and other standards deemed relevant in due course)

2.ROC

5.Ecological credits

Roles and responsibilities

- Design relevant certification systems as part of the overall strategy

of the organization which is dynamic and iterative.

- Design, test and implement participatory verification methods

- Develop SOPs – entire supply chain level

- Develop and implement conversion plans - entire supply chain level

- Training staff on certification activities

- Liaison with certification bodies and other relevant agencies

- Maintenance of trace net and other relevant database

- Handling audits

- Off farm approvals

- Organism internal inspections and internal audits

- GMO, chemical, soil and other testing

- Ensuring issuance of Transaction and Scope Certificates and at all

levels

- Scheduling and conducting approval committee meetings

- Design, test and implement innovative/efficient mechanisms for the

emergent ecological credits markets (carbon, biodiversity, water and

others)

- Technical report writing

- General project management activities including people and finance

related to the certification department

- Travel, activities planning, work done reports, KPIs, budget/expenses

related reporting

- Any other relevant activities related to certification
