Gram Chetna Kendra is a nonprofit, non-governmental organization head office in Khedi Milak, Via- Renwal, Jaipur (some 50 km from the Jaipur city) Rajasthan state on the issues like Health, Disability, Child Development, Micro-Finance, Women Empowerment, Natural Resource Management, water, Livelihood Generation & Basic Education. We seek to appoint dedicated professionals for the following position.

Marketing Manager

Main Responsibilities :

• Supporting producer group/entities comprising rural poor woman in promoting their products such as spices, oil,Dal

• Developing short term & long term training / capacity building programs for sales team and producer group

• Developing branding

• Expanding channels for B2B and B2C promotion of products mentioned above

• Guiding and monitoring of women leaders and staff associated with production activities

• Implementing quality standards and developing SOPs for production process to ensure quality packaging

• Engagement of vendors for door to door selling in rural and urban market

• Social Media Marketing and Participating in Trade exhibitions

Other Responsibilities:

• Any other task assigned by the Line Manager

• Working closely with corporate houses, the government, private sector, business houses and linking market with products

Qualifications and skills needed:

• Post Graduate in rural management/ rural development/ entrepreneurship/relevant disciplines/ Masters with specialization in marketing, with at least 1 to 2 years of experience in sales & marketing of food products.

• Fluency in English and Hindi

• Self -driven person with excellent communication and social skills

Desirable:

• Experience in working with producer groups /self - help groups

• Work in a multi stake holder background

• Capable of working in a team and matrix reporting environment

• Building capacities of team members

Compensation Offered:
