Job Scope

We are looking for a creative video producer who has experience in creating 2D animated videos as well as filming and editing live action videos to help us create educational video content. The videos will be posted on the respective websites as well as relevant social media platforms.

The video producer will work alongside a team of individuals with diverse backgrounds to:

  1. Research best practices to produce and disseminate content through animated and live action videos
  2. Create strategy, ideate, script and be involved in the end-to-end creation of all video-based content for both the Multiply website and related social media platforms
  3. Plan, setup and gather raw video footage for social media, content, and documentation at field visits and events
  4. Create storyboards to demonstrate the visual language of videos 
  5. Source suitable stock music and footage 
  6. Editing the videos post-production: sound editing, inserting closed captioning, graphics or other on-screen text into a video in coordination with designers.

  8. Assist in the production of podcasts, Facebook Live, Twitter Chats, etc. 
  9. Adhere to Creador Foundation brand guidelines and brand messaging and maintain brand uniformity across different video collaterals 
  10. Undertake project management for all video production including preparation of budgets, whenever required, procurement of equipment, and liaising with external vendors 
  11. Maintain a bank comprising video footage, still images, and music scores 

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum qualifications:

  1. At least three years of relevant work experience in video production
  2. Creative individual with experience in visual storytelling
  3. Experience of working in the non-profit/ development sector is an added advantage 
  4. Adept at video editing, animation, static and motion graphics, and sound design 
  5. Technical acumen to set up, operate, fix video / audio / lighting equipment
  6. Proficiency in video editing softwares: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Apple Final Cut Pro / Windows Movie Maker, Vyond, etc. with demonstrated skills in Premiere, Illustrator and Photoshop. A sound understanding of the Adobe Suite will be preferred
  7. Proficiency in English and Hindi or any other regional Indian language

Desired Qualifications:

  1. A relevant graduate or postgraduate degree (preferred) in communications, media, journalism, or related field 
  2. Ability to visually convey theoretical and concept-heavy topics to diverse audiences in an engaging and effective manner 
  3. Updated knowledge in recent social media trends such as Instagram reels / YouTube / TikTok etc.
  4. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within timelines 
  5. Team player with an ability to collaborate across teams
