Nightingales Medical Trust (NMT) is a not for profit, non-governmental organisation working to alleviate the different problems faced by the elderly for over 2 decades. The Government of India, through the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and the National Institute of Social Defence selected Nightingales Medical Trust to run the Karnataka wing of the National Helpline for Senior Citizens.
The 10 seater call centre handles all the calls through the toll free number. The purpose of the Helpline to help elders in distress.
NMT invites applications for the position of Team lead – Connect Centre from professionals who have a desire and passion to work for the welfare and wellbeing of Senior Citizens.
Position: Team lead - Connect Centre
Location: National Helpline for Senior Citizens, 1st Block, RT Nagar, Bangalore 560032 a project of Nightingales Medical Trust.
Salary: ?35,000/- CTC p.m.
Educational Qualifications:
Any PG/ MBA or BE, B. Tech and diploma course to lead a Call Centre.
Work Experience:
As a Program Manager in any state-level programs involving linkages with NGOs and government for 3 years and as a Call Centre Manager or similar position for 2 years with NGOs/Government.
Should have worked as a Team Leader/ Lead preferably for NGOs
Knowledge of technology, including computers, software applications, phone systems, etc.
Skills Required
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, in English, Hindi and Kannada.
Proficient in MS Office and Call Centre equipment/software programs.
D) Roles & Responsibilities:
To manage the operations of the Connect Centre.
Hiring, training, coaching, and leading Connect Centre representatives as they provide support for Senior Citizens.
Conducting team meetings, review of work done by the teams. Preparing monthly plans for the team.
Preparing reports of the Connect Centre data to improve processes and ensure resources are managed well.
Working closely with Project Director, Team leads of Connect Centre & Program Manager (Field) for better results.
Motivating the team to perform to the best of their potential.
Dealing with and resolving problems and issues that arise.
Mentoring and training new staff.
Implementing new initiatives as required by Nightingales Medical Trust.
Working with HR team to recruit new staff and follow HR Policies.
Ensuring daily, weekly and monthly reports through dashboard.
To create a positive working environment and result oriented team.
