Job Description

Consultant- Lawyer


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


• The Consultant Lawyer will visit twice in a month for 3 - 4 hours

• He / She will be responsible for guiding families in POCSO cases.

• Representation in court / CWC when needed.

• Provide consultation at Centre in Govandi & Mankhurd.

• Conduct training sessions for community stakeholders as & when required.

• To coordinate with the PC to collate the cases registered with PVC & build a rapport that will

• work as an advocacy tool with DLSA / Govt. departments & network with other organization’s

• that work on the issue.

• Working with coordinator in setting up network & working at Mumbai DLSA as & when required.

• Filling in Commcare data on a regular basis.

• Documentation of cases as per program requirements


Experience:


Experience of working with Women, Children & their families in a counselling set up, handling

variety of cases of Violence, CSA, JJB in a community setting of Govandi & Mankhurd.


Qualifications:

LLB / LLM

Contract End Date – 31st March 2023

No of Hours – 8 hours in a month
