About Organization:
Spandan has been focusing primarily on malnutrition and food insecurity among the Korku tribe community found primarily in Central Indian states of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. This particular tribe has been in reckoning for past couple of years for alarming malnutrition and mortality among their U5 children. The organization was pioneer in drawing government attention to this crude reality and implementing an innovative layered community-based model that address the multiple causative issues and help scores of children recover at homes and in the community in non-facility-based care.

Required qualifications and experience:
-Master’s in Social Work/ Sociology or Rural Development.
-Should have minimum 5 years’ experience in handling WASH/nutrition and related projects.
Roles and Responsibility:
• Overall responsible for the evidence-based implementation of the project and
coordination with WHH on behalf of the partner NGO. Develop strong liaisons with
the district administration, District program officer ICDS.
• Ensuring quality implementation of the project as per design rolling out of PLA in the entire district through supporting the district trainers' team.
• Provide training to the ICDS staff such as Aanganwadi workers & supervisors in Nutrition & WASH.
• Ensure the district level liaising and coordination with the DPO CDPOs from WCD and other govt departments.
