JOB DESCRIPTION

Organization: Tamil Nadu Social Service Society (TASOSS) is a state level organization set up to coordinate and support the developmental initiatives of Diocesan Social Service Societies (DSSSs) in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. TASOSS is the official organization of the Tamil Nadu Catholic Bishops Conference for Justice, Peace and Development.

Job Commitment:

The Program Manager is in-charge of managing and administering the Overall Programs and projects that are allotted to him/her. Program Manager is committed to plan, manage, review, document and report its various interventions in all the programs with efficiency/effectiveness and with transparency. He / She is required to function as a full time staff of TASOSS internalizing and adhering to the disciplines, code of conduct, service rules and work ethos of TASOSS. He / She will be supported by the Director to develop needed protocols in this regard.

Key responsibilities:

Leadership and strategy:

•Support the organization to be a resourceful organization in-order to capacitate and support in organization development of members, CBOs and CSOs and build vibrant partnership with members.

•Support the organization to the development perspectives and capabilities of CBO leaders, Staff of Member societies and CSO personnel.

•Support the organization to engage and facilitate studies/researches on specific issues, and successful and proven models of social interventions.

•Support the organization to develop as a resource centre to support the initiatives of members, CBOs, NGOs and academicians.

REMUNERATION: INR 30,000 – 35,000
