Role and Responsibilities of Monitoring & Evaluation Officer


Role:


To track the progress of the organization’s program on the basis of developed performance indicators of the program. To collect and analyse the data required for monitoring and evaluation purpose. The position involves intense travel in operational areas of Programme. This could amount to 40-50% of the time based on programmatic need.


Responsibilities: The job responsibilities for the position of Monitoring and Evaluation Officer are as follows:


• Work under guidance of Programme Director for smooth Implementation of Organization’s Programme.

• District Annual Plan Compilation (Compilation at Village, Cluster, Block, District Level) Once in a year

• Review of the district annual plan progress report on monthly and quarterly basis

• Development of Impact Calendar for all programme team members

• Development of key indicators of the programme and lead the collection of program information on key indicators from the community, schools and other stakeholders for enhancement of the program.

• Train the staff in collecting various data collection process and formats, such as baseline, enrollment, retention, learning assessment, etc

• Tracking data collection and on time data entry

• Cross verify the data collected by field staff (as per sample) for validation

• Development of MIS

• Development of Programme Dashboard and monthly update

• Validate and verify the quality of program on an ongoing basis

• Monitor the field visits of PC/APC/Mentors for cross verification and spot checks

• Compilation of the findings and presenting in the meeting

• Analysing the data for data quality, activity wise analysis – Enrolment, Retention and Learning Assessment of target group of the programme

• Present data in monthly meetings.

• Attend community level meetings for handholding of field staff

• Participation in training programs organised by Program team

• Managing donor visits

• Support to other functions in terms of different data requirements

• Support to GROW team in roll out of Mobile Application


• Problem solving and providing support to team members wherever required.

• Responsible of all programme centres with support of Assistant Coordinator, Mentors and Jr. Mentors.

• Support the collection and documentation of impact and success stories on monthly, quarterly, and annually.

• Monitoring submission of attendance of sessions and photos of sessions and activities is mandatory on monthly basis with support of Assistant Partnership Coordinator.

• Attend all monthly check in of donor and other calls as required by donor and SES.

• Any other work assigned by SES as per the need of organization.
