Job Description

Society for DISHA invites application from prospective candidates for the following job in a community based project in fisheries with the prescribed salary –


Job Title: Network Coordinator;

Number of Posts: 2;

Nature of Job: Full Time. Will have to keep regular contact with community activists and work with them in different districts of West Bengal physically or otherwise for information collection, planning, report preparation, record keeping and other requirements of project implementation.

Posting: In Kolkata;

Salary: Rs. 25,000.


Preference for short listing of the candidates will have following considerations -

i. Academic Qualification: Graduation in Social Science/Fisheries / Community Development.

ii. Experience: At least 5 years experience in conduction of community based project.

iii. Language: Reading, Writing and Speaking in English and Bengali.

iv. Skills: Information Collection, Record Keeping and Reporting.

v. Skills: Communication with community, co-workers and authorities.

vi. Reasonably good knowledge in computer - word, excel, ppt.

vii. Ability: To travel.
