We invite applications with updated CVs from suitable candidates for the post of the Advocacy Cum Documentation Officer for the project “To End Worst for of Child Labour in Mica Mines in Jharkhand and Bihar”.

The candidate must have ability to work cooperatively with a broad range of colleagues and deliver results

Position: Advocacy cum Documentation Officer – Number of Vacancy -1 – Eligibility Criteria – Post Graduate in relevant subject with an experience of at least 3-5 years in relevant field. (Salary: Rs.40, 000/-pm including all benefits). Tax will be deducted as per Income Tax Act

Job Description of Advocacy cum Documentation Officer

To Coordinate and facilitate various advocacy and action related activities in Jharkhand and in Bihar States

To design, develop and publish simplifies IEC materials of awareness generation on Child Labor issues, especially to end the worst forms of child labor in mica mining in Bihar & Jharkhand.

Assist the National Convener and State Conveners (Jharkhand and Bihar) of CACL in organizing consultations, Trainings/workshops and preparation of reports.

Participate and contribute in capacity development programmer, consultations, with a view to supporting procedures and systems of cooperation, and strengthening alliances between government offices and NGOs on the issue of child labor eradication especially to end worst forms of child labor in mica mining in Bihar & Jharkhand.

To develop case studies and good practices for highlighting the success/impact of the pilot project.

To provide contents/materials for the quarterly newsletters of the project.

Take notes and prepare minutes of workshop/Conferences/CACL meetings.

Submit monthly report of the Project

Undertake other responsibilities not outlined above which are related to advocacy work of the project.

Any other assignment as decided by the Executive Director – Dr. A V Baliga Memorial Trust.
