Job Description

Main Tasks:

The Consultant Monitoring & Evaluation consultant (MIS/ Documentation/ Monitoring) shall be working under close supervision of Director, NITCON and UN agency supporting the programme. The overall objective of the assignment is to develop an online learning system to design/deliver hybrid classes and a web-based M&E system for managing data and tracking progress of financial and physical activities of the institution. The person will be responsible for monitoring and evaluation of Rural Urban convergence programme under TSU, will facilitate development of monitoring and reporting templates and strengthen the mechanism, collect and analyse the periodic progress report and keep updated the key stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

Education:

Master’s Degree in Computer Science/B.Tech (Comp Science or IT) (or an equivalent course),

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in the development sector in managing data.

• Sound knowledge and experience in the management of web-enabled Learning Management Systems, e-Learning, creating digital content, field information, web-based activities, monitoring and evaluation of development projects.

• Experience of working in close collaboration between the district administration, UN agencies, NGOs, and third parties is an asset.

Language and competency:

Fluency in oral and written communication in English, Hindi, and Odia.
