JOB SUMMARY

As a part of our scaling up initiative of our programs in Rural Livelihood Skilling, Integrated Rural Development Program and Hospitality, we are augmenting our Fund Resource Team at multiple levels. We are open to freshers as well as skilled and experienced fundraising resources to join us in this exciting journey at YUVA PARIVARTAN. The fundraising team will be primarily responsible for developing and implementing strategies to raise funds from various sources, including individual donors, corporations, foundations, and government agencies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fund-raising plan to meet the YP's funding needs.

• Identify potential donors and funding sources and build strong sustainable relationships.

• Write grant proposals and reports, as well as solicitations and fundraising letters.

• Create and manage fundraising campaigns, events, and activities.

• Conduct research on funding opportunities, trends, and best practices.

• Ensure that all fundraising activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.

• Maintain accurate records of donor information and gift histories.

• Collaborate with other functions to ensure fundraising is integrated into the overall strategic plan.

• Provide regular reports on fundraising progress to the management team.

• A Degree in any discipline, preferably with a background in not-for-profit management.

• About Organization:Yuva Parivartan (YP) is the flagship movement of Kherwadi Social Welfare Association (KSWA), a Trust founded in 1928 by the first premier of Independent Bombay Province, Mr. B.G. Kher. YP as a movement was started in 1998 and formally launched by the then President of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, in 2003. This year 2023-24, is the 25th Silver Jubilee Year for Yuva Parivartan. YP’s Mission is to provide Rural Livelihoods through Skilling at Scale. Through its multiple intervention programs, YP provides a second chance to deprived youth and empowers women through sustainable livelihood opportunities based on vocational (farm based & non-farm based), business and life-skill training programs, which lead to attitudinal change and enable income generation.
