Job Description

Society for DISHA invites application from prospective candidates for the following job in a community based project in fisheries sector of the country with the prescribed salary –


Job Title: Assistant Documentation Coordinator;

Number of Posts: 1;

Nature of Job: Full Time. Will have to collect and document information from both primary and secondary sources and cater the same to the network of activists through publications or otherwise. Will also have to work with the community activists in helping them access and use the information required by them.

Posting: In Delhi;

Salary: Rs. 20,000.


Preference for short listing of candidates will have following considerations -

i. Academic Qualification: Graduation in Social Science/Fisheries / Library Science / Digital Documentation / Community Development.

ii. Work Experience: At least 3 years experience in documentation of community based activities.

iii. Language: Reading, Writing and Speaking in English and Hindi. Preference will be given for knowledge in any South Indian Language.

iv. Skills: Information Collection, Record Keeping and publishing.

v. Skills: Communication with community, co-workers and authorities.

vi. Reasonably good knowledge in computer - word, excel, ppt.

vii. Ability: To travel.
