Position: District Programme Officer / Jt. District Programme Officer/Project Officer/Project Engineer

Base location: Any district in Jharkhand

a. Role

1.Implementation of development programs in a district covering livelihood, quality of life domains in the thematic areas of livestock, agriculture, water, soil conservation, energy, health, literacy etc.

2.Training & capacity building of field team, farmers.

3.Liaison with district / block level departments / administration.

4.Involves regular travel within the posted district / cluster for field visit, facilitation, review, monitoring, training etc.

5.Occasional travel within & outside the state.

b. Qualifications / requirements

1.BSc. / MSc. (Agriculture/Animal Husbandry) / B. Tech. (Agri.) / B. E. (Civil with watershed/soil conservation experience) / MSW / MBA (Rural Management) / Dip. In Civil Engg. (with watershed/soil conservation experience) / Dip. in Veterinary Science.

2.Should be well conversant in English & Hindi.

3.2-3 years domain experience. (Fresher with required competence may also be considered)

c. Remuneration

It will commensurate with qualification and experience.
