Urgent Requirement (Livelihood Facilitator)

Project Location- Raisen District, Madhya Pradesh

Position - Livelihood Facilitator Salary - Rs.30000 PM + TA

Experience: Five Years’ experience in coordinating Community development projects in the fields of Livelihood programmes especially with the PWDs (People with Disability). Preference will be given to those who have intensive knowledge and experience working with the SHGs and income generation programmes especially in collaboration with the Government departments like NRLM.

About the Project:

The main goal of the Social Inclusion program will be to work along with “Persons with disabilities to empower them socially, economically and politically in an inclusive society” with the purpose that Persons with disabilities will lead a self-reliant life, exercise their rights, and have financial independence through networking and self-governance.

Simultaneously the main goal of the Inclusive Education Programme will be to work along with children of age group 5 – 18 years with disability so that they can receive quality Education in an Inclusive environment across Government Schools in the entire blocks of Raisen District with special focus on CVIs (Children with Visual Impairment) receiving skillsets for Education.

The key objective of the IE progame will be:

 To strengthen learning outcomes of children with visual impairment (blind and LV) through plus curriculum and appropriate information communication technology (ICT).

 To motivate family and community members for providing/ aiding education to children with visual impairment.

 To create/ strengthen an enabling environment for inclusive education through advocacy and capacity building.

The key objective of the SI Programme will be:

 Facilitate participation of PwD in employment,

 Access to social protection and livelihood opportunities

 To build self-sustainable institutions of PwDs to sustain and safe guard their rights and entitlements.

Position and Requirement (Qulaification/Experience)

Livelihood Facilitator (01) Qul- MSW or similar

Skills-Good at computer operation, net surfing, negotiation, communication, facilitation, training, reporting skills

Result oriented Knowledge & Experience- Good understanding on various livelihood/enterprises schemes for the PWDs like NRLM, MGNREGA etc., good at building linkages, strong Liaoning with Government Departments and community mobilization.

Proactively able to handle responsibilities and committed for timely deliverables.
