The Opportunity

A Ninad Foundation seeks to further strengthen the current programmes! we are looking for an exceptional Communications Manager to develop and implement high-impact communication strategies and support our growth.

Your responsibilities will be to:

 Develop and implement Ninad Foundation’s communications strategy with inputs from the senior management team.

 Identify and develop innovative communications mediums and messages to promote Ninad Foundation’s work to funders, partners and supporters.

 Create dynamic online and offline content including articles, photography, blogposts, case studies, annual reports, and newsletters to demonstrate Ninad Foundation’s work.

 Manage Ninad Foundation’s website and social media presence and keep content fresh and consistent with the overall communications strategy.

 Maintain consistent dialogue on social media channels to engage various stakeholders and the general public.

 Develop a plan for ensuring maximum participation and contribution from the entire team towards the content on social media platforms.

 Create innovative print collateral, working with designers when necessary.

 Design innovative online and offline campaign collateral for specific events. For example: 16 days of activism, Christmas giving, etc.

 Develop and manage media relations: Build ongoing relationships with key journalists and media outlets, write press releases, liaise with media contacts to seed stories within targeted media outlets.

We are looking for you to have the following skills and experience:

 Outstanding English writing skills

 Strong experience of creating powerful content and communications collateral

 Preferred skills:

a. Basics of web design/maintenance, graphic design, sound and film.

b. Experience setting and executing a communications strategy

c. Social media - geek

d. experience in doing development sector communications

e. Fluent in English and Marathi
