We are implementing a project on “Strengthening FPO for farmers empowerment” in Kalyansingpur block of Rayagada district.

Position: Liasioning Officer in Rayagada Farmers Producer Company Limited.

Stationed at: Kalyansingpur block of Rayagada district

Qualification and experience

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, agriculture, rural development, or a related discipline.

• Knowledge and understanding of agricultural practices, value chains, market dynamics and rural development.

• Familiarity with government policies, regulations, and schemes related to agriculture and rural development.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in local languages and regional dialects can be advantageous.

• Previous experience in a liaison or coordination role, preferably in the agricultural or rural development sector.

• Experience in managing relationships with external stakeholders, such as suppliers, buyers, government officials, and development organizations.

• Demonstrated ability to advocate for the interests of an organization and build effective partnerships.

• Willingness to travel.

• Riding motorcycle and driving license is must. Preference will be given to candidates with two-wheeler.


• Facilitate communication and collaboration between the FPO and external stakeholders.

• Act as a bridge between the FPO and government agencies, ensuring compliance with regulations and schemes.

• Obtain necessary licenses, permits, and certifications for the FPO's operations.

• Coordinate and manage relationships with suppliers, buyers, and development organizations.

• Advocate for the FPO's interests and represent it at various forums and meetings.

• Stay updated on industry trends, market opportunities, and relevant policies.

• Gather and disseminate information to stakeholders within the FPO.

• Facilitate training and capacity building programs for FPO members.

• Assist in resolving disputes or conflicts with external stakeholders.

• Keep records and documentation related to liaising activities.

• Maintain a strong network of contacts and seek out networking opportunities for the FPO's benefit.

• Monitor and report on relevant government schemes and policies that impact the FPO.

Reporting to: Executive Director or Assigned Person.

Travel Requirement: 80% of the total time.

Remuneration/Salary: Rs. 30000/- pm (depending on the competency of the candidate)
