Role & Responsibility of Project Manager cum Civil Engineer


Project Manager cum Civil Engineer for managing residential training. project for training of rural community people, Gram Panchayat members, Watershed Projects, Water & Sanitation Programs, Rural development projects.


Key Roles & Responsibilities


Sanjeevani Integrated Water Management is responsible for planning, developing, implementing and coordinating program

Provide leadership in developing a Sanjeevani Integrated Water Management plan

community outreach

Provide technical support to the committee.

Prepare design, plan and estimates of the works.

Provide lay out of the works and monitor the works execution and completion.

Actively work to create social awareness.

Working knowledge of watershed issues

Any other work assigned as and when by the competent authority.

Responsible for Project Execution, monitoring, and reporting.

Implementing the project works such as Farm Ponds, bunds, culverts, fencing and Tank di-siltation as per the given standards.

Gets the quotations, negotiate and hire the required machinery for the project implementation with the approval of the management

Conduct feasibility study, motivation camps, etc.

Update all needed formats, forms to manage the project

Prepares monthly activity report and submits to the Project Director during each phase of a project or as per the set frequency

Data collection to manage the project

Gets the quotations, negotiate and hire the required machinery for the project implementation

Trains, monitors and guides the field and temporary staff in helping the program implementation

Ensure the timely completion of critical goals and milestones through the effective allocation of available resources.

Attends to any other tasks assigned by the Program Officer/Executive Director from time to time as per the needs of the program and Organization.

Good command over word and excel

Willingness to travel to the project locations

Requirements:


Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in pond renovation.

Strong leadership and management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with community.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
