The Role: The Fundraising Manager will be responsible for target based generation of donations within India and stewarding current donors to encourage repeat donations.
Reporting To: Management
Hours – Full Time (45 hours per week)
Monthly Salary – Rs25,000 - Rs30,000 (dependent on qualification and experience)
Core Duties
1. Creating and implementing strategies to raise funds for TOLFA.
2.Identifying potential sources of CSR and Grant funding.
3.Writing of strong grant proposals for CSR, funding foundations and other grantmaking bodies that show clearly the work TOLFA does and how it aligns with the grant-givers priorities.
4.Developing solid, long lasting relationships with donors and sponsors, and creating compelling fundraising campaigns for them individually.
5.Maintaining strong relationships with donors through communications recognising their contributions and keeping them informed about our work.
6.Create and Manage (in collaboration with our Duties of Fundraising Executive Digital Communications Manager) crowdfunding campaigns.
7.Organising events, being aware of external Able to work in collaboration with other events we can take part in, recruiting volunteers, and ensuring that the events are well executed.
8.Working in collaboration with other TOLFA departments - Social Media, Communications, Finance - to ensure everyone is informed and working together towards the same goals.
The above list of duties is not exhaustive and the Fundraising Manager may be requested to take on additional tasks or administration duties at the request of management.
Education & Experience Requirements: BA/ MA in social work or Business/ Sales & marketing 3+ years in similar role or proven record in fundraising or sales & marketing. Fluent in Hindi and English (speaking and written)
