Outreach Manager / Partnership Officer


Base Location: Mumbai

Background: Meri Trustline is a telephonic helpline where children & young people facing online risks can easily reach out for meaningful support, redressal and guidance. We do this by blending together technology & social work practice with mental health and legal support to ensure comprehensive well-being and safety of the victim.

Meri Trustline is the flagship program of RATI (Rights. Action. Technology. Inclusion.) Foundation, a Mumbai-based organization committed to working for children & women facing abuse and violence in online and physical spaces. The Foundation’s cutting edge work at the intersection of child safety & technology has received the National Award for Child Welfare in 2017.


Job Description:

? As the Outreach Manager, your core focus will be the implementation of the

project’s outreach initiatives and managing partnerships with stakeholders across

key Indian States.

? Liaising with and training partner NGOs, CSOs and networks across under-resourced

areas in India in introducing them to the trustline and the safety initiatives at

RATI.

? Travelling to the key geographies based on need to train and upskill

organisations in the area of online safety.

? Planning, coordination and implementation of key events organised for partners.

? Liaising & managing relationships with key stakeholders in these geographies

? Maintaining data & records, monthly reports of the calls with partners etc.

? Work with the larger trustline team during the periodic reviews of SOPs & safety

and outreach strategy.

? Other duties as assigned, consistent with the above duties as project develops


Desirable Qualifications/Experience:


 3+ years of professional experience in managing projects & teams.

 Ability to travel and adapt to diverse geographies.

 Strong Leadership skills with the ability to lead the network

 Ability to communicate & negotiate effectively – in writing and in person. Speak

English and Hindi & possess good writing skills in English.

 Be skilled in the use of computers for the purpose of documentation and email-

based communication

 Passion for training and implementing new ways of safeguarding victims from

online harms

 Ability to demonstrate methodical approach to dealing with workloads.


This is a full-time Mumbai based position. We work 5 days a week but depending on

cases and emergencies, holiday and weekend work may be required at times. This can be duly compensated for at a later date.
