Population Health Services India (PHSI) is a not-for-profit organisation that was set up in 1999 with the mandate to provide high quality reproductive health services and products at affordable costs to the economically weaker and hard to reach sections of the Indian population. The organization specializes in social marketing, developing technical and informative reproductive healthcare materials and behaviour change campaigns to improve the accessibility and adoption of quality contraceptives. PHSI is an affiliate of MSI Reproductive Choices, a global organization that empowers women and girls to make informed choices for contraception and safe abortion services across 37 countries. PHSI works with the Ministry of Health, Government of India under its Contraceptive Social Marketing Program reaching out to the underserved populations with affordable family planning products. PHSI also supports Government of Jharkhand under its Public Private Partnership scheme for the provision of female and male sterilisations through Jyothi Clinics and Outreach.
The Role the Clinical Quality Lead is responsible for the safety of clients and the quality of the programme’s clinical services across all channels. S/he manages both the clinical governance and the clinical capacity building arms. The CQL aligns all clinical services with the PHSI Policy on Clinical Quality and Accountability. S/he also watches over the quality of medical and pharmaceutical products used across the channels and plays a critical role in budgeting and resource planning to deliver quality, client centred services.
The position requires 50% travel time.
