1. ORGANISATIONAL CONTEXT

2. JOB PURPOSE

Parinaam’s Academic Adoption Programme is designed to transform the lives of desperately poor children by providing them access to high quality education through academic scholarships. The target segment is children from poor, disadvantaged backgrounds.

The Field coordinator for the Parinaam’s Academic Adoption Programme is responsible for the on-ground execution of the programme and direct engagement with the Beneficiary

The Field coordinator is the face of the Parinaam’s Academic Adoption Programme on the field.



3. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business

• Identify new schools and coordinate visits to introduce Parinaam

• Identify new children and coordinate visits to introduce Parinaam

• Work with schools and parents for RTE admissions

• Enroll new children into the programme

• Prepare profiles of all children for fundraising

• Track and monitor attendance and performance of all children

• Provide support to the PA, PM on the programme

• Provide on hand support and counselling support to all beneficiaries on all program interventions

• Bring any issues on field to the notice of supervisor

• Vendor management



Beneficiary

• Counsel parents to enroll children into the programme

• Collaborate with parents of identified children for admissions

• Counsel and troubleshooting issues of parents and children with regard to education and related issues

• Actively track all the children enrolled under AAP

• Liaison on sponsor gifts and reporting to donors on gifts

• Assist in healthcare camps and counseling

• Assist in healthcare camps

• Facilitate documents of the children and parents


Internal process

• Liaisons between Parents, Schools and management

• Fill up all reports as required

• Make sure field bills are submitted to accounts on time.

• Counselling skills

• Communication skills

5. ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Desired Qualification Graduate in any field

Desired Experience 3 years of experience in Community work in education


Note: Please add minimum mandatory experience/qualifications required alone

6. FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

(Knowledge and skills needed for satisfactory performance of the job)


• Basic Excel Data Entry and Management

• Record Keeping

• Language proficiency in English and conversational Kannada and Hindi preferable. •


7. BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES

• Interest and willingness to work in the NGO sector

• Willingness to do field job

• Empathy and counselling skills



Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, Reporting Manager and HR.
