Job Description

A Branch Manager is a professional charged with managing the day-to-day operations of a Tadsha-Rista Microfinance activities. . These responsibilities include developing business plans and attaining distribution of Loan, delivering great customer care, and growing revenue through increased lending activity. He/She also responsible for the day to day branch operations ensuring timely opening and closing of the branch, service to the customers for all services, keeping high level micro-finance activities standards. Ensure branch is opened & closed as per the approved timelines.

Responsibilities

 Direct all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, human resources, administration and microfinance activities.

 Assess local SHG conditions and identify current and prospective loan opportunities.

 Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans.

 Meet goals and metrics.

 Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately.

 Bring out the best of personnel by providing training, coaching, development and motivation to staffs

 Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.

 Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs

 Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.

 Network to improve the presence and reputation of the NGO and Funding Agencies.

 Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and penetration.

Minimum qualifications, experience & competencies required:

 Branch Operations Manager must have a bachelor’s degree A minimum of three to five years of experience in management of Microfinance activities. Sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices

 Ability to meet sales targets and production goals

 Familiarity with Microfinance activities rules and regulations

 Excellent organizational skills

 Results driven and customer focused

 Leadership and human resources management skills
